Who is Al Cowan?

- Al Cowan is not a career politician. He is a small business owner, a former School Board President and he served his country as a military officer. As our next Congressmen, Al will lead the fight for fiscal responsibility by eliminating earmarks and pork barrel spending. He believes government should spend our tax dollars wisely and efficiently. No more multi-billion dollar bailouts for big banks and corporations. No more earmarks or pork barrel spending. And Al Cowan will demand a balanced budget. Al will fight for greater limits on contributions from lobbyists, PACs and special interests to improve the responsiveness of members of Congress to their constituents. And Al supports term limits for all members of Congress and pledges to serve no more than 3 terms if elected. Al and his wife Penny, of Midland, have been married for 38 years. They have two children, Alvin and Beth.
